I bought my PiCon membership before learning that TypeCon was running the same weekend in Boston and professional needs trumped. I don't really regret that, but I do regret that I can't be in two places at once as I would also like to be in West Springfield adding to the fun of the new convention. It's looking tasty; they've got some good folks coming."
Specifically, the GoH is author Jacqueline Carey. Also on the bill, Keith DeCandido, Terri Osborne, Allen Steele, Brian Wilson, and Musical Guest Voltaire.
Today, in email, Geri says: "I haven't sold or transferred my PiCon membership to anyone. You're welcome to treat this email as an authorization to transfer my membership to a deserving soul if you run across one."
Update to my earlier post. I'm moderating "Retro TV" and "Books - Where and How" panels. I am the sole panelist on "Retro TV," and will therefore be moderating myself. That should be interesting.
