After linking the Don Martin dictionary a couple of posts back, I was browsing the web site that has it, to see what else was there. As you might have already gathered, there are covers galore. There are places where you can beg people to sell you MAD magazines and ancillary merchandise, or put your own up for sale. There aresnappy answers to stupid questions from readers of the pages, as well as general answers to questions that might occur. One that interested me in particular pertained to the CD-ROM collection of MAD that Broderbund put out a few years ago.
Anybody who owns that set is familiar with a certain annoying icon:

When you see that, it means that an article couldn't be reprinted. This included a Jean Shepherd piece illustrated by Wally Wood, and a handful of others that Broderbund couldn't get the rights to. Well. Click on the icon above, and it will take you to scans of the missing pages!
I thought that was... I, uh...
Well, never mind. Nobody's reading any more. They all clicked through to the articles. I'm talking to myself. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. It's crackers to slip a rozzer on the dropsy in snide. I have one grunch but that eggplant over there.
