Dreamt it was the morning of the second day of a convention. I had no memory of the first day -- I suspect I'd frittered it away in some manner that caused me to miss it entirely. I was trying to get together with
gerisullivan, so I got out my cell phone, which had magically become even less convenient to use, and tried to connect while I wandered around the hucksters' room. There were a couple of nice big comic art books. By big, I mean, they were big enough to lie down on. Eventually, the dream wandered away from the con entirely, but it was interesting to see how it mirrored my real-life concerns.
I also seem to have dreamt, for the second time this week, that I was still working at the garden center, except they were telling me it was all over. For some reason, the garden center was located in the house I grew up in both times I had the dream. It's always nice to see the old place, but I wouldn't have minded a happier occasion for it.
Back in reality, I got the "gee thanks but no thanks" call from another prospective employer. The problem with working 15 years at one place is that you apparently lose the ability to seek work effectively.
