Lots has been going on. Plumbing issues, school projects, web page stuff, tiny incremental home improvements, treading at the Y. Enough to blather on for many boring paragraphs. Lucky for you I'm already starting to forget it all.
But today after we got home from the school carnival, I took my evening walk with Sarah. It was getting dark -- poetically, with falling shades and whatnot. We walked past the far corner, where one distant neighbor lights a string of colored lights across the front of the house every night. On to the corner where I generally turn around, going past a conifer in the yard lit with white lights. We cut down Vantage, where a house almost exactly like ours had a small tree or shrub inside that was also lit with white lights.
It's getting warmer and warmer here, but it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
