I was waiting for Sarah at her bus stop yesterday afternoon, and I got interested in stuff on the sidewalk. This is a crack in the cement, maybe as wide as my thumb. There's a bigger version behind the jump.




There's an even bigger one of it at the flickr page. You can get lost in it. I took some others, but I'm going to get better shots of the same subjects before I put them on my flickr page.

Do you think the acorn-brown things at the bottom are organic? They look almost like fungi.

I took them for small fungi myself. At first I thought spores, but spores wouldn't be that big.
