Today, I succumb to a meme.

Take a picture of yourself right now. Don’t change your clothes. Don’t fix your hair. Just take a picture. Post that picture with no editing. (Except maybe to get the image size down to something reasonable. Don’t go posting an eight megapixel image.) Include these instructions.

And behind the cut, the picture with minimal editing for color balance:




The bigger versions (suitable for printing, framing, and treasuring forever) are at my flickr page. Tell me if that breaks your friends page. Or your monitor. If I hear bad things, I'll hide it behind a cut, as the good lord probably intended.

If I'd been planning it, I'd have had to turn on the lava lamp about an hour before. Shame on me for not having it on anyway.

Wow, you wear the same kind of glasses my dad does. Which at that angle also make you resemble Don Messick ever so slightly (it may be the way you have your lips pursed, as if on the verge of saying "Mr. Ranger isn't gonna like this" into a mic.)

My philosophy of glasses is 'more lens, less frame.' My lips were pursed as if thinking about smiling but not wanting to look as sappy as that would make me look (yet avoiding the somewhat hostile appearance that is my face in repose -- tough balancing act, that).
