I've been learning about the CS5 (new) version of InDesign as I format the Project Gutenberg text of the First Folio for my Sony Reader, which was defective in some ways and has been exchanged for a refurb unit -- in other words, a unit that somebody else sent back because it was defective in some way. (And despite three reinstalls, the Reader software still doesn't open a window on this computer.)
I've been trying out the animation capabilities of the CS5 version of Photoshop. Promising, but also a bit frustrating when the help screen has no entry for a word that the program is showing you right then and there. This was also a bit annoying in InDesign.
Following an offhand question Dad asked in a phone conversation, I decided I might as well go through my "Book of a Thousand Songs" and play each one one time. I'll start reporting on that here. Not on every song, but on highlights. I'm up to about page 32 now. Some pages have as many as three songs, and some songs take as many as two pages, so I don't actually know how many songs I've played so far.
