They fixed the cigarette lighter receptacle in the car (fuse, of course), so now I can use the adaptor I got at Best Buy.

Hey, now I need to find someone to give your former adaptor to. It has to be somebody with a mid-size iPod (mine won't work with it, sadly). Must remember to write an entry about that.
