Reportedly in the works from 1940 to 1979, this movie had a legend comparable to the travails and setbacks of The Cobbler and the Thief. Now Studio Ghibli is bringing it out for the Japanese market. Looks pretty interesting to me, even if I can't understand the words or read the subtitles. "The King and the Bird," or Le Roi et L'Oiseau. (Thanks again to Cartoon Brew.)
