I've just been downloading a bodacious bunch of Lux Radio Theater programs, guided sometimes by the show in question, but even more by the stars. I found a page that lists the top stars of each episode, and opened it in another window so I could grab, grab, grab even faster. More Edward G. Robinson, Bob Hope, Vincent Price, Gregory Peck, Cary Grant, and many more. Also many regrets when a show I wanted wasn't in the list of shows at archive.org -- "Pygmalion," "On Moonlight Bay" (based partly on some Booth Tarkington "Penrod" stories), "Double Indemnity" (sob).

But anyway, I have more listening than I'll be able to squeeze in for a while. All for free. I foresee enjoyment.

Oh, and the copy of Pinocchio that I put on a CD has been pretty effective in easing Sarah off to Slumberland the past few nights. Talk-talk-talk is, indeed, faster than music in some ways. I know it is for me! That's why I can't listen to radio shows at night.
