It seems to me that the Wizard of Oz display in the department store window in the classic A Christmas Story was a Snow White display in the original text version by Jean Shepherd. Thus it was with keen pleasure I caught a link on bOINGbOING today to an actual surviving Snow White department store window Christmas display which is still on view, restored, in upstate New York.
Problems aside, it is still a wonderful world.
