...if you got a remote control that could control the universe?

I'd delete Adam Sandler.

After that, if my thumb still worked, I'd maybe heal the sick and end war or something.

Meanwhile, in the real world, there are free cartoons and stuff at GoogleVideo, but only for one day (June 23, 2006). So go have fun. I think "download" is a misnomer here, but for today, the price tags are off these items. I see the highest-priced ones here are the wrestling matches.

I'm going to play Donkey Konga now.

The lost masterpiece of Richard Williams, The Thief and the Cobbler, is available on YouTube. Not the hacked-up version the suits had made after they yanked this labor of love (he worked on it for 25 years) away from its creator, but a remixed director's cut carefully recreated by dedicated fans from the shooting script of the director. It's in 17 pieces. Pretty interesting stuff -- you can see where Disney got its ideas for ALADDIN. Except, of course, they probably never even saw it before, just like they never heard of "Kimba, the White Lion" before they made THE LION KING.

(Gacked from CARTOON BREW -- and go there for a link to Milt Gross's MGM cartoon JITTERBUG FOLLIES while you're at it.)

(pps: Note the link to Refrederator at the bottom of that Cartoon Brew link to the free Google cartoons. I'm looking at "King of Bugs" now.)
