LJ won't let me reply to comments. I was going to say, "Yes, there was the overreaction to the vigilantes, and the denial-of-service attack someone made on LJ. I don't know if either of those is the reason I can't seem to make replies to other comments or not, but it's pretty bleeding annoying anyway."

I believe the official word is that it's the DDOS, nothing to do with the suspension kerfuffle. They're working on it.

I tried to comment on one of the LJ news posts, and I got the message comments had reached its max. So, when the most recent news post was made, I was finally able to post. On page 14 or 15, but at least I got that comment posted. I hope you are finally able to comment.

Yes, I caught up with the LJ/WFI kerfluffle. I assume, however, that it's the DDOS attacks that are causing our woes. I tried twice to post a lenghty entry and got bounced right out of LJ both times. I remembered you had a similar problem recently so i tried your technique of a shorter post. That seemed to work.

Hope your not being able to comment on posts issue clears up soon.
