Those photographs are remniscent of abstract paintings. Very lovely!

davesslave beat me to it: that top photo in particular is simply amazing. What do you suppose causes ghost leaves? Do you think they were wet (damp) and sticking to the sidewalk? Then, when they dried somewhat a breeze rearranged them? Very intriguing.

I've been thinking it was wet leaves, left on the sidewalk long enough that they printed off on it a little. I was noticing them as I walked around, and had intended to take a picture of them. I don't know if melting snow has washed them off yet or what. I might try again if circumstances permit.
