There were massive print jobs for Number One Client, and last-minute changes and massively increased numbers of copies requested with very little notice.

Heh. Been there, done that.

Then blemishes started turning up on our output. The repairman was called, and he applied his expertise to the copier (instead of the more normal procedure of applying it to explaining that we can't expect anything on heavy stock, pre-printed stock, stock that feed sideways, or stock that isn't on the Master List O Stock that can be found at his company's website).

Now that's unusual.
(Actually, our repair techs are mostly quite good.)

Thirty minutes after he left, new blemishes started showing up on the dreadfully time-critical job, so he was called again.
